The floor of the venue was a sea of bouncing, weaving, swaying teens and twenty-somethings until the very last note.
As a music photographer, I am often presented with stage lighting that presents a bit of a challenge. It comes with the territory and usually my experience and technique will save me, but sometimes I survey the stage plot before a band’s set and go “uh-oh”. Such was the case with the headliners on this night.
These young guns have descended from the Great White North in support of a debut album on Roadrunner that is bound to generate some serious buzz among alt-rock stations and metalheads alike.
Local boys making good, Brookroyal was clearly a crowd favorite at Pointfest 26. And I must admit, having not heard them prior to the festival I came away a fan too.
